"I predict this book will be a classic!" "Your treatment of the 'end of
the world' is the best treatment of this idea that I had read that I can remember. Your
book could really open the eyes of a lot of people" "After reading "Beyond the End Times," it immediately became apparent that this is the best popularly
written book available in the field of fulfilled prophecy! Congratulations, John, on a great effort that will
surely stand the test of time." "Noe's book just could be the
spark that ignites the next reformation of Christianity." "Your book continues to move well.
It has broken all previous sales records. This is the best "best seller" we have
ever had. But even more importantly it is having impact upon the very grassroots folks we
targeted it for. I'm elated about it." "It surely is a message that
is desperately needed...So often, God has given his special gifts on understanding to lay
people. John Calvin was a layman. John Noe is a layman. And both of them have left
writings which the church must read and 'come to grips with.' " "I am certainly of the opinion
that there is a need for `responsible apocalypticism. I will look forward to reading
your forthcoming book when it is published. I am certain there are people on faculty who
will find it interesting as well." "Your manuscript is interesting...
You have developed this theory in more detail than anyone else I know... I hope you can
publish this material so that we can formally interact with it." "This is an important work.
You make an impressive case. One being made practically no where else in evangelical
Christianity (to my knowledge) and one that deserves to be made and discussed... I can see
this book attracting a lot of interest." "The premise...is right on target.
I enjoyed reading this...immensely. I am intensely interested in the unfolding of this
approach." "God has given you a prophetic
message for our time... What you are doing will shape the church for decades to come if
not for centuries... Many people will be quoting you over the years to come... I pray for
you to find the right publisher." "First of all, I'd like to
compliment you on your writing skills. This morning was the first time that I had a chance
to actually sit down and read some of the material. Talk about straight-forward ... it's a
good approach taken for those who aren't "scholars", but want to know and are
seeking the truth in plain language. This book is definitely top-notch." "I found your book to be a
superb presentation of the preterist view. In fact, I have ordered an additional
half-dozen copies for a number of people, both high and low profile, who need to confront
its message. The book, in my opinion, deserves a landmark status." "I was able to obtain a copy
of your recent book as soon as published. Congratulations on a job very well done. You
presented the evidence for the preterist position most thoroughly. If you had chosen to
become an attorney (which fortunately you didn't), you would have been an exceptional
trial lawyer! Perhaps you and/or your colleagues are working on a book that would give the
spiritual and practical advantage of a daily walk in light of the completed work of the
Lord and His fully available Presence. I would welcome such a book." "Your handling of Daniel's
prophecies is revolutionary and needs as much exposure as it can get." "We are loving your new book Beyond
the End Times! You have written so clearly and easy to understand. THANK YOU! This is
such a hard 'new' idea to share with others...I'm being met with so much argument and
opposition, I don't even want to open my mouth anymore. But I can't keep quiet either. I
feel like I've been deceived for years, and am excited to share this truth." "Reading this book reminded me
of my past history with eschatology. I had given up on it for some time. In college, I
knew a man who had written a small booklet on how the world would end in November 1982. He
had charts filling his wall. The day came and went. Then I was exposed in various ways to
various interpretations of Revelation, Daniel, and Matthew 24:15. They all seemed weak,
confusing, and uncharacteristic of God in light of the rest of scripture. In 1990, our
congregation in Indiana hired a preacher who (we found out later) believe we were in the
last generation and tied Revelation to the eruption of Vesuvius. At this time I learned
that people have been making such predictions for years (although I was not aware of 1/3
of the list in Noe's book). So, I had put it away as beyond me and have focused on the
message of the life of Jesus, the logos, without respect to eschatology. In addition,
throughout college and after, I heard about these crazy 70 A.D. people who said Jesus'
SECOND coming happened in 70 A.D. My brother-in-law softened me somewhat by pointing out
the "near in time" passages in the NT and another preacher in Indiana convinced
me of the early date and application of Revelations. Your discussion and this book have
won me over. It is like a light coming on." "I am a pastor with a church
in Columbus, Ohio. In the faith, I was raised with a strong Pre-Mil dispensational bent.
In 1986 I was exposed the Post-Mil model ala David Chilton but because of my position and
the ups and downs of life, was not able to do more that scratch around the edges. About
three years ago, I was introduced to the Preterist Position. I was thrilled to death with
the Partial position but scared to death with the Full position. I looked the other way
for about six months and then decided to push ahead and stop denying what the Scripture
seemed to be saying. I got ahold of "The Parousia" by Russell, and material by
Ed Stevens, John Bray, and an article by a guy named John Noe. I've even written a few
papers on various related subjects for my skeptical pastor friends in our Association.
Also, I recently purchased your fine book Beyond the End Times. I have one more
chapter to go. You have articulated the Preterist position clearly and powerfully. I am
ordering your book on the Resurrection and a paper re: 1st-Cen miracles." "I just finished reading your
book Beyond the End Times. I met you once time at a conference in New Jersey. I am
an Elder in a church in Maryland. I have slow but sure been coming over the Preterist
paradigm. The scriptures are opening up to me and my heart burns within as the truth comes
to light. Thank you so much for your hard work and your leadership. I will certainly be
passing your book on to others who may be interested. God Bless!" I have just finished reading
Beyond the End Times.
"You may be interested to know that your book has been our best seller for the last two months." - M.S. "Your book arrived today. Thanks. I Read it this afternoon, and it is a good piece of work. Easily recommendable for those curious and desiring to know what's going on! Especially liked the segment on seven demanding evidences, and five questions answered." - B.L. - J.B., Sharon, PA - T.O. - J.K., OH I have enjoyed getting to know you through your writings, correspondence and phone calls. Thank you for your desire to remain biblical in your approach to eschatology (though I appreciate your work I am not yet persuaded). Please feel free to use the following blurb in any way that might be helpful:
"John Noe has provided a fresh, open-minded look to the questions
concerning the end times. His new work, Beyond the End Times, is a thoughtful and carefully reasoned interpretation of
biblical prophecy. Many, like myself, will not be fully persuaded of
his conclusions, but all will be challenged to read the biblical text
more faithfully. Noe's work deserves very serious consideration." |
