You’ve Gotta Be Kidding . . . Right?

You’ve Gotta Be Kidding . . . Right?

Hell yes!” What better way to kick off a serious book about a sobering subject, and as the cover suggests, a vast gray area of theology and controversy, than with a bit of light-hearted, hellacious humor?

But, “hell no,” I’m not kidding; by gosh, hell is a heck of a problem. What images race through your mind when this subject comes up? How have those images influenced your life, positively or negatively? Have they affected the lives of others you know or love? Have those images and beliefs changed during your life? If so, how so? Has the idea of an eternal hell troubled, comforted, confused, worried, or delighted you? How have you grappled with it?

All joking aside, hell is a huge problem for a lot of people. Its terrifying and haunting concept has thoroughly permeated and embedded itself in almost all areas and aspects of our society.  Nobody is immune.
