Preterists at ETS Unleash Only Solution to Liberal Attack

Two conservative scholars from the International Preterist Association presented what is being termed "the only solution to the liberal attack on the Bible" at the 51st Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society in Danvers, Massachusetts, Nov. 17-19.

According to IPA President, Edward E. Stevens, "For two centuries, liberal scholars have attacked the credibility of Christ and the inspiration of Scripture by claiming that Jesus was wrong when He promised to return within the lifetime of his contemporaries."

Author John Noē adds, "The only solution to this problem of non-occurrence is occurrence - everything Jesus promised happened exactly as and when He said it would. Preterism is the only biblically consistent view that offers this solution and stops the liberal attack dead in its tracks."

This solution was explained to hundreds of ETS scholars and theologians at IPA’s exhibit booth and in Noe’s paper presentation. Also introduced were John Noē’s two latest books:

o Beyond The End Times, named by Christianity Today as one of the top three books in "The Millennial Book Awards" article (Oct. 25, 1999, pp. 77-78).
