Reactions to Israel Insanity

Since my blog last week, “Israel Insanity or God’s Purpose?,” I’ve received many reactions both PRO and CON. Here are a few excerpts:

“Wow, John, that is insane? Where are these teachings coming from?”

“a pathetic state of ignorance that abounds today in modern Churchianity.”

download (5)“I was raised with the view that this group presents – and you are right, it is the prevailing view in the evangelical religion.”

“I used to believe that also. I was very wrong.”

“Not even shocked. The error in her response is so obvious.”

(CON) “You are making a serious error. HE did not say the Kingdom would be taken away from Israel. He said it would be taken away from the Chief Priests and Elders of the Temple.”

“Stop confusing her with facts. . . . when you confront them with facts and logic, they respond with ad hominem attacks.”

“I speak out against Christian Zionism ALL the time . . . I get called all sorts of nice names by those ‘christians’”

“I am dumfounded at the beliefs of many people who are Christians and who read the same Bible I do.”

“This is not only scary but sad. . . . brainwashed devotees of Christian Zionism. . . . They are determined to blow the whole darned world apart. Spooky.”

“Incredible misinformation.”

“I will pass this along to my readership and it should elicit many good responses.”

(CON) “I find you BRILLIANT and only fault your thinking in this area. I continue to pray you will receive more revelation . . . for Israel’s well being and for the well being of your own soul.”

“Just read your page. I like it, keep up the good work :-)!”

“It’s like debating a fool. . . . God is not a racist and being a Jew is not a nationality. The gospel of the kingdom is for WHO SO EVER WILL.”

“Talk about mean spirited. The sway of Christian Zionism is pretty powerful even in my Bible believing, independent church.”

“Blatant ignorance and laziness. . . . It’s like televisions shows. If there is not some continuing expectation of drama, intrigue, or disaster . . . people (in this case, Christians) will abandon the faith for lack of interest.”

(CON) “I want to be the last to boast against Israel or to stand apart from God’s beloved elect (even in this time of their disobedience).

“Interesting that her argument stems from a belief that the ‘words in red’ don’t apply to us.”

“People believe what they were taught to believe.”

“No Kingdom, No KING, No King ruling over all, and the world is in the mess that it is in.”

“It is interesting that when you started to point out scripture to the admin, the person started with the name calling.”

“I read your article. Excellent. Many in the Body of Christ have ‘kingdom schizophrenia.’”

“Yep . . . Israel is insane!!”

“Christian Zionism is a boil on the ass of humanity.”

“One of the greatest plagues on mankind.”

“This is the minefield/MIND-field for those of us who address the foreign policy implications.”

“People like you and myself must be from the devil to some of those with closed minds. They can’t stand to have their worldview challenged.”

“People will believe many strange things that keep them in bondage.”

“This is so ludicrous it almost does not deserve a response.”

“I have long marveled over the Jewish-insanity that Christians seem to have in many circles. . . . you can’t argue with people like this, they WANT to believe something no matter what the TRUTH may be.”

“the whole doctrine is Satanic; the ‘orthodox’ church has adopted 1st-century Rabbinism.”

“I completely believe there is a stronghold spirit that these people are infected by that blinds them to . . . . this kind of idolatry.”

“I guess those folks never got the message that Paul preached nothing but the hope of Israel, which was the body of Christ, with the message of Jesus’ passion.”

“This doctrine purports to follow the teachings of Paul, but it conveniently ignores his statement that God has made the Jew and Gentile into one new humanity and that the wild olive was grafted into Israel’s olive tree.”

“This is why I believe we need more than another reformation about ‘the end times’ . . . . We also need another reformation for the true and proper understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ including the Kingdom of God.”

“Thank you for continuing to be a light in the darkness, John.”

“People still love their darkness rather than His light.”
